Many believe that Sascha Zverev and Ivan Lendl sooner or later will partner.
In fact, on one side, Sascha seems to be a sure bet after he has won already 3 ATP1000 at 21 years of age; on the other, Lendl is a very rock-solid coach with a fantastic pedigree after he helped Andy Murray to win 3 slams.
Still, Sascha and Ivan insist that they do not have any official relationship in terms of coaching, but now there is a picture going around of Zverev practicing in Tampa with Ivan.
So…?
I’m honestly so chuffed for Team Zverev right now. Ivan has done such great work with Andy, getting him 3 Grand Slams.
Sascha looks up to Andy a lot too, this must really mean a lot to him to have Ivan on board. He’ll truly believe he can win a Slam now.
