Federer and Azarenka to be seeds no.1 for the 2012 Olympic Games

We are almost there.

As predicted Roger and Vika will be the top seeds for the Olympic Games. There are interesting rules to follow. If there are 2 players (or teams of doubles) of the same country, they are going to be placed in the 2 different parts of the draw. If there are 4 players (or teams of doubles) they will be placed in different quarters.

The big question mark in the mens’ draw is definately in which half Murray is going to fall. But there are also a couple of unseeded floaters that you do not want to play with because of their serving power. Raonic is the first one Enve the Swiss Maestro has always struggled  against the Canadian to recover from 1 set down in all their matches in 2012 in Indian Wells, Madrid and Halle). Then of course there is another huge nightmare… boom boom Karlovic, a player that with his serve can beat anybody on fast courts.

Vika has a very difficult task as the level of competitiveness in the ladies is much more even. So she will be in a different half of Radwanska, but there are too many players that can upset her. Serena and Maria Sharapova are the most obvious.

The draws are due for today and we will  see what it is going to happen.
