Nadal back to no.1

Rafael Nadal is back to the top!

The Spanish legend wins his 8th title in Rome to regain the top spot of the rankings after 1 week he dropped it following his defeat in Madrid.

The King of Clay is leading again Roger Federer (back to no.2) by 100pts (8770 vs. 8670).

Schwartzman

Diego lost as early as in the 2nd round in Rome, but he took full advantage of the fact that Sam Querrey, Roberto Bautista Agut, and Jack Sock lost many points in Italy. After last week’s results,  Schwartzman goes up 3 places in the rankings to be the new world no.12 (career high).

Edmund

After reaching the 3rd round in Rome, Edmund gains 2 places up to be the new world no.17 (career high).

Shapovalov

Denis had to bow to Rafael Nadal in the Rome 3rd to gain 3 more places and become the new Canadian no.1 and the world no. 26 (career high).
