There is no match with Rafael Nadal when you talk about intensity on and off a tennis court.
The Spanish legend was at his very top during a fantastic Davis Cup tie against Germany after he dismantled Kohlschreiber and Zverev in both singles without conceding a single set.
Soon after his last match, Rafa was 100% into the decisive rubber between Ferrer and Kohlschreiber, and when his compatriot won the epic, he launched himself in the court to cheer with his friend.
His passion for his team didn’t refrain the King of Clay from sticking to his trademark sportsmanship, and Rafa didn’t miss the chance to go to the German quarter to congratulate (and console) his opponents.
Heart of a champion!
what a wonderful sportstar and guy @RafaelNadal is – right after the MP first he slapped hands with the sad german team and hugging the inconsolable @Kohlscribbler – and later a great gesture by #Zverev looking also for Rafa to hug himðŸ‘🻠This is Davis Cup – just GRANDEâ£#ESPGER pic.twitter.com/pQ119gQSle
