Federer only top seed alive in Indian Wells

Roger Federer is closer and closer to his 6th Indian Wells title.

The Swiss Sensation is currently in the 4th round, but he can also smile for the lack of top competition. Many players are already out for injuries or because they didn’t recover properly during their comeback. Therefore, the tournament is already orphan of Nadal, Djokovic, Murray, Wawrinka, Nishikori, and Goffin. In addition, some top seeds are already out such as Cilic, Dimitrov, and Thiem.

The top-seeded players that are still alive and that will menace the Maestro are Kevin Anderson and Juan Martin Del Potro. That’s not a lot for such an important event.

Federer will face Chardy in the 4th round. The head to head is 3-1 for Roger that has often struggled against the Frenchman. Remaining sharp will be the rule of the game for the world no.1.
