Serbia’s Ana Ivanovic continued her comeback Sunday by beating Russian Alisa Kleybanova in less than 2 hours 6-2 7-6 (5).
She will rise to 17th in the WTA Ranking this week.
“It’s a big step for me to be back in the top 20, it was my goal. The last few months have been very excitingâ€.
“It’s amazing, I’m really happy,we both played really great from the first point.†said an elated Ana.
Kleybanova added :’I played good, nothing went wrong, it was just that Ana was playing really good tennisâ€.
