Interesting stuff in the ATP world. This coming week there are 2 ATP500 in Acapulco and Dubai, and all the top players except for Grigor Dimitrov decided to go and play in Mexico.
After Federer decided not to play in the Emirates, Dimitrov is confirmed to be the seed no.1 in Dubai, and it’s difficult to see how he can miss a deep run in this event. In fact, the second seed is world no.16 Lucas Pouille followed by Roberto Bautista Agut (no.22), Damir Dzumhur (29), Richard Gasquet (34), Philipp Kohlschreiber (35), Filip Krajinovic (36)m and Yuichi Sugita (41).
Grigor will face the wildcard Malek Jaziri (no.116) in the opener.
Plausible quarters
Dimitrov – Kohlschreiber
Bautista Agut – Gasquet
Krajinovic – Dzumhur
Sugita – Pouille
A HUGE CHANCE TO WIN ANOTHER TITLE?
