Federer breezes past Gasquet in Melbourne

Roger Federer is in cruise control!

The world no.2 was completely comfortable in playing Richard Gasquet in the Australian Open 3rd round to beat the Frenchman in straight sets. 

Roger was in full control for the entire match.  In fact, he won the first set after breaking Gasquet twice (3-1 6-2); he conquered the second set after breaking the Frenchman in the last game (7-5). Roger got an early break in the 3rd set to win a 3-0 lead. Then Swiss blinked only in the 7th game of the 3rd set when he conceded the first service game of the match (4-3), but then he conquered the decisive break soon after to win the match 6-2 7-5 6-4 after 1 hour and 59 minutes.

After this match, Roger leads Gasquet 17-2 in head to head matches 

Next vs. Fucsovic

Roger has an extremely approachable 4th round against the world no.80 Marton Fucsovic. They have never played each other so far.
