Djokovic impresses in strong comeback match

There were many question marks about Novak Djokovic fitness after he took an extremely long break from competitions and he withdrew from the Mubadala World Tennis Championships and the Qatar Open to deal with his elbow injury.

Eventually, the former world no.1 had a remarkable performance in his 1st round at the Australian Open to beat Donald Young 6-1 6-2 6-4 after displaying amazing game. Nole played ominous tennis especially in the beginning when he was destroying the American when leading 6-1 5-0. Then Djokovic played a more “human” tennis and conceded 6 games till the end of the match.

Djokovic is expected to play Gael Monfils in the second round. If the Frenchman wins his 1st round, he will have the opportunity to reverse his terrible H2H record against Djokovic (0-14)
