Dimitrov leads the draw in Stockholm

Stockholm, Sweden. Grigor Dimitrov had a couple of nice runs in China where he was the second best only to Rafael Nadal in both Beijing (in the semis), and in Shanghai (in the quarters). Even if Bulgarian didn’t manage to beat Rafa, he brought the world no.1 to the limit to fold in both occasions in the 3rd set, and this should give a significant confidence boost to him.

After his Asian campaign, Grigor is back to Europe, and he is leading the draw in Stockholm where he will bid for his 4th title of the season after Brisbane, Sofia, and Cincinnati.

The other top seeds in Sweden are Kevin Anderson (no.2), Jack Sock, Juan Martin Del Potro, Mischa Zverev, Fabio Fognini, Yuichi Sugita, and Fernando Verdasco.

Projected quarters

Dimitrov – Zverev
Sock – Fognini
Sugita – Del Potro
Anderson – Verdasco

The defending champion is Del Potro that last year he defeated Jack Sock in the final.
