Rafael Nadal has always been associated with Babolat, but apparently, something is changing now.

The Spanish legend is preparing his comeback for 2017 to train with a new stick from HEAD. Rafa had a 10 years’ contract with Babolat starting from 2007, and that’s why he may give a shot at a new racket.

Let’s see what it is going to be.

Nadal surprises everyone and trains ... with a HEAD... True to Babolat since the beginning of his career (junior), Rafael Nadal surprised this Tuesday by bringing to the central court of his Academy in Majorca a series of HEAD racket prototypes. The revelation was made by his training partner and confirmed by a video, where it is more or less clear that the racquet that the 30-year-old Spaniard is wearing, totally painted in black, is a HEAD. On Monday, Nadal had trained with his Babolat, but the contract ending the contract with the French brand may make the Spanish rethink whether to officially try another type of material. @RafaelNadal @rafanadalacademy #VamosRafa #rafanadal #somostodosrafanadal From πŸ‘‰ http://bolamarela.pt/atp-world-tour/atp-world-tour-atp-world-tour/video-nadal-surpreende-tudo-treina-head/

Just guessing. Babolat didn`t want to give great contract to Rafa because of his results and he is going to a better racket. Just guessing.

It`s difficult to understand if that is really a head or a babolat, but the rumour was already around that he was having problems with the stiffness of the babolat. The contract is also expiring, so ... why not?
