Roger Federer played an absolutely divine match against world no.1 Novak Djokovic.

Besides being at the top of the rankings, Nole is also a “gracious loser”, probably the “best” in tennis history. So the Serbian didn’t find any excuse for his demise to have great words for the Maestro.

Djokovic: He played the perfect match

Nole commented "I think I did not play too bad. It's just that he played everything he wanted to play. He played the perfect match. I think he's going to tell you how he felt, but that's how I felt he played. He played an amazing match.

It was definitely one of the best matches he has played against me, that's for sure. He's playing as good as ever."

Nole will now head back home where he will become a father! Good Luck to Nole!

Roger served very well to win Shanghai.
Can he similarly do so in the other finals ?
Doubt it.

I think Djokovic still has the better chance to finish as world no.1, but thinks can get very mixed up if Federer wins Basel and Paris. In that case I would never miss the WTF!

Novak will bounce back and eventually he will be the deserving world no.1

Roger back to world no.1 would be something huge for tennis. I think a critical factor will be how many tournaments Djokovic will miss to attend the birth of his new born. Then it will be also important to understand his motivations.

I think that fed is also lucky that Nadal is not around. If Rafa will not be back soon Federer can really end the year as the new world no.1.
