Andre’ releases an interesting interview about the Maestro

At 36 years of age, Roger Federer is still one of the key men to beat on tour. Roger has amazed the tennis fans after an incredible 2017 full of prestigious titles such as 2 slams (Melbourne and Wimbledon), 3 Masters ATP1000  (Indian Wells, Miami, and Shanghai), and 2 ATP500 (Halle and Basel).

Having so many options is the secret. AGASSI

Agassi is now in Europe were he is adding expertise to Djokovic’s coaching team, and during an interview with Le Matin, Andre reveals Roger’s secret

“Federer is unique in everything: greatness, precision, easiness. He plays tennis in a different way than others.

When I say easiness, don't misunderstand me: it's not easy, but it seems Federer controls everything, has a solution for any issue.

With so many options, he has the power to avoid the physical intimidation that many current players use. He knows that he can play elegantly, smartly, handle his efforts, take his time to get his injuries healed, learn new things and keep investing in his progress.

We can't deny that Federer will mark the sport forever.”

That’s an interesting analysis of a sport that is currently giving too much credit to the physicality of its players.

It`s a good point. I also think that Rafa has added some more to his tennis. For example is using his sliced backhand more and he is going to the net much more than before

This is a very good point. In fact, when roger was talking about his chances in the Wimbledon semifinals he said clearly that the other 3 semifinalist were all bigger and stronger than him and he had to find a solution to it. He found it!
