Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian, finely welcomed their second anniversary. Announcing the news on their Instagram pages, they shared some of their lovely photos accompanied by amazing captions.
On her Instagram page, Serena Williams uploaded a picture of her husband alongside a price tribute. She wrote, “2 years and counting happy anniversary, my love @alexisohanian.”
She also posted their wedding photo with a caption, “2 years and counting @alexisohanian is still putting up with me.”
Alexi Ohanian also took to Instagram to appreciate his wife. He shared a photo of him, and Williams accompanied with a short, sweet message which read, “Celebrating 2 years with my ride or die @serenawilliams always ready for the next black-tie event…Or Netflix&Chill night in,” The couple chose to try the Popeyes Chicken sandwich to mark this critical marriage milestone in their lives.
Who is Alexis Ohanian?
Alexis Ohanian was born on 24th April 1983. The 36-year-old is a renown American internet entrepreneur. Ohanian is not only a co-founder but also an executive chairman of Reddit, a social news website. The American also co-founded Initialized capital and assisted in establishing Hipmunk a travel search website.
He started Breadpig a social enterprise and was a partner at Y combinator. He was dubbed as the Mayor of the internet by Andy Greenberg of Forbes magazine in 2012. According to Forbes, he is currently worth $70M. He lives in Florida together with his wife Serena Williams and daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.
How they met?
They first bumped into each other in May 2015 at the Rome Cavalieri, where both were staying. The two happened to share the same table, thus got an opportunity to talk to each other. Next was their first date in Paris after Serena Williams invited him to watch her participate in the French Open. Fast forward in 2017 November they tied the knot, two months after Serena gave birth to their daughter, Olympia.

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian have a daughter named Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. She was born in 2017 with her birth coming two months before Serena and Ohanian tied the knot. The two-year-old has been in a couple of events with her parents, for instance, during the Fashion Week Runaway with Serena Williams. She has also been seen in the public supporting her mother, for example during the Mubadala World Championships in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
